Day of Ashura 2022: Ashura Wishes, Quotes, Messages, SMS & Images

The day of Ashura is a day of great mourning and reflection for Muslims all around the world. On this day, we commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Among the many commemorations that take place on Ashura, one of the most important is making wishes for the coming year. Here are some of the most popular wishes that are commonly sent via SMS, emails, and social media posts.

Day of Ashura Wishes

I hope for the happiness and health of you and your family. I hope the year ahead is fantastic for all of you.

Allah is pleased to bestow upon you the blessings of love, bravery, intelligence, contentment, health, patience, and cleanliness.

May Allah, the Highest, bless the Muslim world and all nations that practice Islam. Cheers to Muharram.

May the globe experience great peace, success, and joy in the coming year. May Allah keep us safe.

The day of Ashura is a day of remembrance, when people fast, express sadness, and carry out smart deeds.

The day of Ashura is observed by fasting, repentance, and performing good deeds in remembrance of the victory of truth over deceit.

“Don’t you see that the deception is not put down and the truth is not followed? Because of this, a believer desires to meet Allah (and die); to me, dying is the only thing that brings prosperity, and coexisting with tyrants is the only thing that brings disdain and shame. Imam Hussain (PBUH) said Citations: Hilyatul Awliya, V.2, P.39 and Tohaf Al-Uqoul, P.245

“May Allah receive all honor and gratitude. Whose is the ownership of everything on Earth and in the skies. A blessed Muharram to you!

In fact, there are twelve [lunar] months in Allah’s calendar starting on the day He created the heavens and the earth, four of which are sacred. (V. 36 of Sura At-Tawbah)

The greatest time to fast after Ramadan is during Allah’s month of Muharram, according to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). [Sahih Muslim]

Ashura SMS

The most kindhearted person is the one who extends assistance to others who are not expecting it.

If someone disobeys God in order to gain the approval of others, God will subjugate them to him.

“Following the truth is the only path to full wisdom.”

“To me, dying is nothing but joy, and living under dictators is nothing but torment,”

“Those who worship God with the intention of profiting are not true worshipers; rather, they are traders. They are slaves—those who serve God out of dread of being punished. And those who worship God should express gratitude to their creator since they are free and their worship is sincere.

“Beware that one of God’s benefits to you is that there are those who need you. Therefore, avoid frightening away those in need when they approach you since God’s blessings will turn around and go somewhere else.

“Your true friend is one who exposes your flaws to you as a mirror, while your enemy is one who flatters you and hides your flaws.”

“Haste is foolishness,” they say.

Arguing with unreasonable individuals is one of the indicators of ignorance.

Ashura Messages

The most charitable person is the one who extends assistance to others who are not expecting it.

“Whoever disobeys God in order to satisfy people, God will subjugate him to people,” the Bible says.

“Wisdom cannot be full until it pursues the truth”

“To me, dying is nothing but joy, and living under dictators is nothing but torment,”

“Those who worship God with the intention of profiting are not true worshipers; rather, they are traders. They are slaves—those who serve God out of dread of being punished. And those who worship God should express gratitude to their creator since they are free and their worship is sincere.

Being aware of different points of view and being able to critique one’s own words are among the characteristics of a learned man.

“Being grateful for one of God’s graces causes God to give you another grace.”

“Beware that one of God’s graces is the need of others for you; therefore, do not ignore the poor lest the favors turn into troubles. Do keep in mind that doing good things earns you the respect, admiration, and rewards of God. If good deeds could be personified and imagined as a real being, you would perceive him as nice and attractive, whose sight is pleasing to everyone. And if you could see him doing terrible deeds, you would see him as ugly and repulsive, with hearts abhorring him and eyes shutting.

Avoid taking actions for which you might later be called to apologize! Because a believer does not damage others and does not want an apology, whereas a hypocrite always does harm and demands an apology.

“The only flexibility and moderation toward obstacles will save you when you are frustrated and do not know how to escape.”
